Introduction:
Quartz sand is quartz stone crushing processed. Quartzite(quartz rock), also known as silica, is a hard, wear-resistant, chemically stable silicate mineral. In nature, there are quartz sandstone, quartzite and quartz wein quartz. Quartz sandstone is a classic rock of consoli dation. Quartz detritus content is more than 95%. Refined quartz sand is derived quartz is derived from varous magnetic rocks, sendimentary rocks and metamorphic rocks, and less heavy minerals. Associated minerals are feldspar , mica and clay minerals.Quartzite is devided into two types: sedimentary origion and metamorphic origin. The boundary between clasic particlesand cementations not obvious. The latter refers to deep, pure quartz quartzite. Quartz sand is hard, wear-resistant, stable chemical properties of sillicate minerals, it is main mineral composition is SIO2, quartz sand color is white, colorless or translucent, 7 hardness, brittle cleavage, conchatus, oil sheen, density 2.65, bulk density (1-20 for 1.6). 20-200 to 1.5, the chemical, thermaland mechanical properities have obvious anisotropy, insoluble on acid, slitly solube in KOH solution, of the melting point of 1750 DEGC.
Removing iron from dry quartz purification equipment: the main minerals in quartz sand are antimagnetic quartz, which can not be magnetized in the magnetic materials and can be magnetized field. The common specifications of quartz and sand are: 0.5-1 mm, 1-2mm, 2-4mm, 4-8mm, 8-16mm, 16-32mm,10-20 grain, 20-40 grain, 40-80 grain, 100-120 grain.
